It has been quite the week for Justin Geddie.

On January 8, Geddie made 41 saves and earned first star honours as his Black Fish Lacrosse Club earned their first victory of the Arena Lacrosse League season, defeating the previously unbeaten Grizzlies Lacrosse Club 12-8 at Langley Events Centre.

And Geddie’s week four performance did not go unnoticed, earning him a spot on the National Lacrosse League’s San Diego Seals active roster ahead of their January 14 against the Saskatchewan Rush.

Through four games this season in the ALL West Division, Geddie has posted a 1-1 record with a 12.58 goals against average and a .784 save percentage.

The 20-year-old Geddie is a six-foot-five goaltender from Victoria who was originally drafted 32nd overall by the Calgary Roughnecks in the 2020 NLL Draft.

Geddie becomes the fifth player from the Arena Lacrosse League West Division to earn a spot on an NLL active roster for a game this season.
