Arena Lacrosse League East Weekly Game Recaps - Week 6
The Arena Lacrosse League East had four exciting games this week on the schedule.
Saturday at the Children's Arena in Oshawa, Ontario
Early Game
Whitby Steelhawks 11 Oshawa Outlaws 9
In a game that looked like it was going to go stride for stride, the Whitby Steelhawks used two runs of four goals in the second and fourth quarters to gain the ultimate advantage. The first run was answered by the Outlaws, led by Luke Laskiewicz's hat-trick. The second run was in the fourth quarter. It took a tie game and made it a Steelhawks stranglehold. Oshawa tried to comeback with a couple of goals, but simply ran out of time. Both goalies played superb, keeping their teams in the game all afternoon.
Whitby was led by Nate Woods (3g,2a), Luke Keenan (3g,1a), and Liam Aston (2g,2a), with Devin Pipher (1g,4a) as the playmaker.

Down 6-2, the Timbermen put together a four goal run to tie the game. These teams matched each other goal for goal the rest of the game. Regulation time solved nothing, and to overtime we would go. It didn't take long for Stone Jacobs to beat Sam Haines to the shortside sending the Timbermen to victory.
Cam Milligan (2g,4a), Jack McAlpine (2g,3a), and Taio McComber (2g,1a) led the Timbermen.
Tanner Buck (3g 3a), Dawson Battersby (2g,2a), and Lucas Ferreira (2g,0a) led the way for the Monarchs. Ty Jesso (0g,3a) was the playmaker
