ALL East Power Rankings - Week 2
The Arena Lacrosse League East 2024-2025 Power Rankings - Week 2
1. Whitby Steelhawks
The Steelhawks looked even better in week two than they did in week one. Eleven different scorers in this game led by Devin Pipher, Liam Osbourne and Brady Kearnan. Lukas Coote had another strong game in goal as well.
2. Peterborough Timbermen - Did not play
3. Brampton Express - Did not play
4. Six Nations Snipers
The Snipers finally were able to put together a solid sixty minutes. Up by only a goal with five minutes left, Six Nations put it in another gear to score five of the last six goals for the victory. Dusty Hill was spectacular in net, especially down the stretch.
5. Toronto Monarchs
Toronto’s defense was sensational in this game. Never letting Ohsweken get more than two goals in a row, they allowed their own offense to chip away at the Bears defense. Parker Pipher and Patrick Thomson led the Monarchs offense to a 13-9 victory. Craig Wende was superb in the win.
6. Oshawa Outlaws
The Outlaws had a decent output on offense with John St. John (5g,5a), Gareth Haigh (3g,3a) and Chris Attwood (2g,4a). However, the defense needs to tighten up to help out Jackson Brown in net. This team has a lot of talent, and won't be in the bottom end of the rankings for long.
7. Paris RiverWolves
A depleted bench for Paris took it's toll playing against the defending champion Whitby Steelhawks. While the transition game was working well, the offense needs to step up to make it easier on their defense. Defensively the team needs to limit the runs against them.
8. Ohsweken Bears
A rough day at the office for the offense, who never really got on track all afternoon. The defense was stingy, making the Monarchs work for everything they got. Austin Paddy was stellar in net, making 37 saves on the day.
