Arena Lacrosse League East Game Recaps - Week 7
This week the Arena Lacrosse League East had three games on the schedule.
Friday Night at the Memorial Arena in Brampton, Ontario.
Ohsweken Bears 12 Brampton Express 23
Brampton scored early and often jumping out to a 5-0 lead midway through the first. To their credit, the Ohsweken Bears fought back with three of their own to tighten the game. However, the Express kept coming, scoring eight of the next nine to lead 13-4 at the half.
Ohsweken kept fighting, trading goals with Brampton throughout the second half. However the lead was just too insurmountable to comeback. Brampton wins convincingly 23-12.
Jake McNabb (5g,7a), Curtis Ward (4g,7a), and Zach Sunderland (4g 3a) led the offense for the Express. Brampton got production from eight different scorers in this game.
For Ohsweken, Eddie Renaud (5g,2a), and Lucas Beaver (2g,0a) led the way, with Chris Attwood (0g,4a), and Joseph Laforme (0g 3a) as playmakers.

Saturday Afternoon at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario.
Oshawa Outlaws 19 Toronto Monarchs 9
In what had to be the most complete performance of the season, the Oshawa Outlaws jumped out to an early lead never to look back. Tied 1-1 the Outlaws scored six of the next seven goals to take control of the game. The Monarchs fought back in the second quarter but Oshawa was just too powerful on this afternoon.
Although the Monarchs opened the second half scoring, Oshawa scored eight of the next nine goals to put this game away. The combination of Sam Haines and Carter Stephens had a busy day in net for Toronto. They combined for 45 saves, keeping the Monarchs in the game throughout the day.
John St. John (3g,5a), Austin Blumbergs (3g,4a), Josh Gilray (4g,3a), and James Whiteford (4g,2a) led the Outlaws offense. Gareth Haigh (1g,5a) was the the playmaker.
Parker Pipher (2g,4a), Tanner Buck (3g,1a), and Jordan Dance (2g,2a) led the Monarchs offense.

Sunday afternoon at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Hagersville, Ontario.
Paris RiverWolves 15 Six Nations Snipers 10
The Paris RiverWolves jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter never looking back. Playing disciplined lacrosse, the RiverWolves weren't penalized in the first half, while jumping out to an 8-4 lead.
In the second half the Six Nations Snipers started to get on track led by Wes Whitlow (4g,0a) with a pair of goals. Chase Cosgrove was superb in the Paris net, not allowing the Snipers to get on track throughout the day, never allowing the Snipers to get any closer than within four goals in the second half. Paris wins their third in a row with a convincing 15-10 victory.
Kurtis Woodland (3g,5a), Matt Duncan (3g,5a), Kaymen Diabo (3g,3a), and Nick Ellerton (2g,1a) led the RiverWolves offense.
Wes Whitlow (4g,0a), and Jaden Patterson (2g,1a) led the Snipers, with Tye Argent (1g,3a) and Briley Maxwell (0g,3a) were the playmakers.
